Red face

I tried to join just now but got the 'redirecting you to a non-secure site' when I hit the 'send info' button. Did anyone else get that message?

There's NO WAY I'm gonna send my cc details to a non-secure site. Why can't they sort this out?

    What a shambles!!!

    Hey Terry,

Mine went through securely. Maybe try again later. Sometimes I get that message if I hit "send" twice.

    GOOD LUCK!

Well I don't feel very confident sending my credit card number so I'm gonna have to send them an international money order. It's gonna take longer but thats alright with me.

No me neither I'm not risking another cc fiasco again! Why does nothing ever work like it's supposed to do? I think everything connected to Sony is damned

I'm starting to get really worried because I still sent my CC details through even though I got the non-secure message.. Why the hell did I do that?!?! I think I was just having a bit of an excited 'teeny-boppy' moment coz the fanclub was finally open, and I wasnt thinking straight!! LOL Arrghhh I hope nothing bad happens..

Don't worry about that message, it doesn't refer to the page you submit your CC details on, but the the page following, ie the one that tells you your application has been received and when to expect the webpage to be up and running. There is no need fr that to be a secure page as no confidential info is being sent to it - the alert I think is automatically generated when you are being directed from a secure page to an unsecure one - because the software doesn't know that you aren't going to be putting in CC details on the next page....if you see what I mean?

That said, if people are happier to do it via an International Money Order, then there is no reason why they need send the ir details over the net anyway, of course.
